Married. Divorced. Married again. Got kids. Dived deep. Flown high.
Worn things I probably shouldn't have.
Can clear, load, zero, aim and fire a rifle.
Earned a degree. Performed on stage. Applied. Resigned. Moved on.
Spent time in custody...sometimes for work, sometimes... just life. Walked out the other side. No criminal record… so far.
Laughed. Cried. Shouted when it mattered.
Slept. Stayed awake for far too long.
Seen, heard, felt, tasted, smelt. Experienced life properly. Been through tough times. Came through them.
Been there for people. Still am. Always will be.
Understand more than I say.
Skived occasionally. Worked hard consistently. Learned constantly.
Antagonistic when needed. Sympathetic when it counts. Always caring underneath.
Living life as it comes. Still curious. Still building. Still learning.
Swum, climbed, walked, run.
Kept moving. Kept learning. Kept changing.
Got mud on my face. Life’s not a disgrace.
Still aiming to be a big man someday.
…although maybe I already am?
